Travel Scholarships:
The IHEU is pleased to announce a call for applications for travel scholarships to assist delegates from the developing world to attend the IHEU Congress in Washington DC on June 5-8, 2008. Applications must be submitted by March 11, 2008.
The maximum amount available is 500 Euros per scholarship and the remainder of the cost must be met by the applicant. Successful applicants will come from eligible countries from the UN and World Bank lists. Preference will be given to applicants who are members of an IHEU member organization and who have not received financial support to attend a previous meeting. Funding is subject to availability.
To apply, please send an email to funding-2007@iheu.org, including your name, full postal address, country, email address (for all communications), membership of IHEU member organizations, whether you have received funding to attend a previous IHEU meeting, amount of funding applied for (max 500 Euros), confirmation that you will be responsible for all your expenses in excess of this amount, including the Congress registration fee, visa, air fare and other transport costs, hotel, food etc and a short (maximum 400 words) statement in support of your application.
